A friend ponted me to a recent announcement made by their team.
Apparently they say from now on the symbian version will just be maintained, and no mention for MeeGo at all. I'm now even more convinced that meeTrainer was something needed!
You are absolutely right. Today, i used the sportstracker app and i was so disappointed (mainly by the connection dialog popping up) and i m so glad, you made this app. Will check it out during my next excercise and donate something! Cheers
